Six months of IObit’s antivirus-plus-tune-up suite, free — for the first 200 PCs
IObit sent Techno360 a fresh key for October. I activated it myself on build 18.5.0.120 before publishing this, and it activated without a problem. Activate before 2 November 2026 — once 200 PCs use it, it stops working.

⚡ Quick Read
- What it is: IObit’s Windows utility that combines antivirus protection with the Advanced SystemCare cleanup, speed-up and software-update tools.
- The deal: a 6-month subscription, free, shared across 200 PCs. Activate by 2 November 2026.
- Tested: key activated on our PC today; the Software Updater flagged two genuine updates (Notepad++ and OBS Studio).
- Watch out for: an iTop VPN offer after setup (click Skip This) and real-time protection showing as off until you switch it on.
- Best for: people who want one app for both malware protection and routine PC upkeep instead of three or four separate tools.
Most Windows PCs slow down without anyone noticing at first. Startup apps pile up, browsers fill with junk, and the copy of Notepad++ you installed two years ago never gets updated. Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18 tries to deal with all of that and also act as your antivirus. I’ve covered Advanced SystemCare on Techno360 since version 13, so for this October giveaway I installed the current build again, ran each section on a working PC, and replaced every screenshot on this page with new ones.
🔄 What changed on this page (1 Oct 2026): new giveaway code (the February key has expired), new screenshots from build 18.5.0.120, an official IObit download link, current pricing checked against IObit’s store, and a corrected version reference that wrongly said “17”.
What is Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18?
Think of it as two products in one window. The first is Advanced SystemCare, IObit’s long-running cleaner and tune-up utility. The second is an antivirus component with real-time protection. IObit says it uses the Bitdefender engine together with IObit’s own anti-ransomware engine, and the About screen credits the Bitdefender SDK. IObit released version 18 on 17 November 2025, and it runs on everything from Windows XP to Windows 11.
The left sidebar has five sections: Antivirus, Care, Speed Up, Software Updater and Action Center. If you’ve used the regular Advanced SystemCare, the bottom four will look familiar. The Antivirus tab is what you’re paying extra for.

My hands-on experience with version 18
Installing: quick, but keep an eye on the extras
Setup is a single Install button. The installer screen also offers IObit Malware Fighter and Smart Game Booster. In my case both checkboxes were unticked by default, which is good. After installation, a second screen promotes iTop VPN with a large blue Accept and Install button. If you don’t want a VPN, click the grey Skip This button beside it.
Antivirus: switch real-time protection on first
This surprised me. When I first opened the Antivirus tab, it showed an orange Unprotected warning: real-time protection was off. One click on Fix Now turns it on. Do this right after activating, or you’ve installed an antivirus that isn’t actively watching anything. Below the warning you get the three standard choices: Quick Scan, Full Scan and Custom Scan.

One more tip from IObit’s own FAQ that’s worth repeating: don’t run two antivirus programs side by side. If you already pay for another security suite, choose one. If you’d rather stay with a free option, our tested list of the best free antivirus for Windows 11 compares the alternatives.
Care: the one-click scan (and what it skips)
The big SCAN button sits in the Care tab. There are twelve checks underneath it, and only seven are ticked out of the box: Privacy Sweep, Junk File Clean, Shortcut Fix, Registry Clean, Spyware Removal, Internet Boost and System Optimization. Registry Defrag, Software Health, Security Reinforce, Vulnerability Fix and Disk Optimization are left off.
I’d leave those defaults alone for your first run. Then add Vulnerability Fix, which looks for missing Windows security patches. If your PC still has a hard drive rather than an SSD, add Disk Optimization as well. I’m deliberately not giving you a “PC got X% faster” figure. Cleanup gains depend entirely on how cluttered the machine was to begin with.

Speed Up: two useful tiles, two that are really shortcuts
On my test PC, Speed Up found 22 startup items that could be disabled or delayed. That’s a realistic number for a PC that has been used for a while. Startup Optimizer is the tile I’d use first, and Turbo Boost (off by default) pauses background programs when you need the RAM, for example during a game.
It’s worth being clear about the other two tiles. Hardware Accelerator sends you to Driver Booster, and App/Extension Cleaner sends you to IObit Uninstaller. Those are separate IObit apps, not features built into this suite. If you want proper driver updates, we have a separate Driver Booster 14 Pro giveaway running right now.

Software Updater: the feature I’d actually keep
This is the most practical part of the suite. It found two outdated programs I hadn’t noticed: Notepad++ (8.9.7 → 8.9.8) and OBS Studio (32.1.1 → 32.2.1). It also correctly reported Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Git and Everything as current. Outdated apps are an easy way in for malware, so a tool that catches them without you checking each one is worth having. Version 18 also adds Microsoft Store apps to what it can update.

The toolbox
Open the toolbox icon at the top and you’ll find extra utilities in three groups: System Optimize, Security & Repair and System Clean, plus a fourth column of other IObit products. The ones I’d actually use are Large File Finder and Duplicate File Finder for freeing up space, DNS Protector to stop malware from changing your DNS settings, and FaceID, which photographs whoever tries to use your PC while you’re away.

What’s new in Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18
These are IObit’s own release notes for version 18, summarised in plain English. The startup change is one you can already see in my screenshot above.
- Safe Folder (new): a locked area for sensitive files that blocks unknown programs, including ransomware, from changing them.
- Larger virus and web-protection databases: more known threats detected, and more phishing pages and ads blocked in the browser.
- Store app cleanup: Junk File Clean now covers leftover files from Microsoft Store apps.
- Wider startup control: more startup entries and services you can disable or delay (you can see this in the 22-item count above).
- Software Updater: more supported apps, now including Microsoft Store titles.
- Privacy Sweep and AutoCare: removes more browsing traces, and runs automatic cleanup more intelligently in the background.
- Refreshed interface in 37 languages.

Ultimate vs Advanced SystemCare 19 Pro vs Malware Fighter
IObit’s product names are confusing, so here’s a simple way to tell them apart:
- Advanced SystemCare 19 Pro: cleanup and speed only, no antivirus. It’s numbered one ahead of Ultimate, so it isn’t the “newer” product, just a different one. (See our Advanced SystemCare 19 Pro free license post.)
- IObit Malware Fighter 13: security only, with no tune-up tools. It’s for people who already have a cleaner they like. Our IObit Malware Fighter Pro 13 review covers it in detail.
- Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18: combines the cleanup and speed tools with antivirus protection in one program. It makes sense if you’d otherwise install both.
Pros and cons
| 👍 What I liked | 👎 What could be better |
|---|---|
| Antivirus and PC upkeep in a single program | Real-time protection was off on first launch |
| Software Updater found real updates and made no false alarms on the browsers | iTop VPN upsell after setup; some tiles just open other IObit apps |
| Sensible scan defaults; the riskier options are off until you choose them | Registry cleaning brings little benefit on modern Windows |
| Still supports Windows 7 and even XP | Windows only, with no Mac or Android version |
How to activate the free 6-month license
- Download the installer from IObit’s official Advanced SystemCare Ultimate page.
- Run it and click Install. Leave the two bonus-app boxes unticked unless you want them.
- When the iTop VPN offer appears, click Skip This (or accept it if you actually want a VPN).
- Open the program, then open the License Manager using the Enter Code / Activate link in the main window or the ☰ menu at the top right.
- Paste
9AC43-AC5DA-6CBD4-25BGNand click Register Now. - You should see “The license has been activated successfully!” Go to Options → My Subscription to check the expiry date.
- Finally, open the Antivirus tab and click Fix Now if real-time protection shows as off.

⚠️ If the code is rejected: the most likely reason is that all 200 activations have been used. Check that you copied the complete 23-character code, including all three hyphens, with no extra spaces. Bookmark this page. If IObit sends us a new code, we’ll update it here.
📊 Our Take
Is Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18 worth installing?
For free, yes. You get antivirus protection plus a decent set of maintenance tools. In my testing, the Software Updater found two genuine updates, and the Care and Speed Up sections handled cleanup and startup management as expected. Turn on real-time protection straight away, skip the VPN offer, and leave registry defrag unticked.
Get it if you want one app instead of several. Skip it if you’re happy with Microsoft Defender and keep your PC tidy yourself.
Frequently asked questions
Is this Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18 key legal?
Yes. IObit’s partner team issued the code to Techno360 for this giveaway, and you install the program from IObit’s official site. Nothing is cracked or modified.
How long does the free license last, and when must I activate it?
It’s a 6-month subscription counted from the day you activate. You must activate before 2 November 2026, and only the first 200 PCs will be accepted.
What happens when the 6 months are over?
The paid features stop and the program asks you to renew. Your files and settings aren’t affected. You can renew, use a new giveaway code, or uninstall it and go back to Microsoft Defender.
Can I use it alongside another antivirus?
IObit says it can coexist with other security tools, but it advises against running two antivirus programs at once because that slows the PC down. I agree. Use one real-time antivirus.
Does Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18 work on Windows 11?
Yes. IObit supports Windows 11 and 10, as well as 8.1, 8, 7, Vista and XP.
What’s the difference between Advanced SystemCare Ultimate 18 and Advanced SystemCare 19 Pro?
Advanced SystemCare 19 Pro only cleans and speeds up your PC. Ultimate 18 includes those same tools plus an antivirus component with real-time protection.
