Microsoft Edge browser final Stable version is now available for Linux OS.
Users of Linux may finally download a stable version of Microsoft’s new Chromium-based web browser.
Microsoft released a stable version of the Microsoft Edge web browser for the Linux operating system.
Microsoft made Edge available on Linux in preview channels (Dev and Beta channels) in October, and now the browser is available in the stable channel for Linux.
To download and install the Microsoft browser, you’ll need a 64-bit Linux distribution. There are no 32-bit packages available for download.
Users can get the Edge browser for Linux via the Microsoft website or get it using a Linux package manager using the command line.
The Edge web browser can be downloaded and installed on Linux in two ways:

- Get the .deb or .rpm packages from the official Microsoft website and install them directly.

At the moment, stable releases of the Edge browser are available for the following prominent Linux distributions:
Debian, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Fedora, and Enterprise Linux distributions (RHEL and variants).
