XenArmor Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro free: what the giveaway includes

Windows remembers the password of every Wi-Fi network you have joined, but it doesn’t make it easy to read them back. XenArmor Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro scans the saved wireless profiles on your computer, decrypts the stored keys and lists them in one window, together with the SSID, security type and a quick security verdict for each network.

That makes it handy when you need to add a new phone or smart TV to your home network, move to a new laptop, or check which old hotspots your PC still trusts. The giveaway gives you the Basic Edition with a 1-year licence.

Key features of Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro 2026

XenArmor Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro Basic Edition main window with Recover Passwords, Delete and Export buttons
The main window before a scan. Press F5 or click Recover Passwords.
  • One-click recovery. Finds every Wi-Fi network saved on the PC and decrypts its password instantly. No router reset, no command prompt.
  • All security types. Works with WEP, WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 profiles, according to XenArmor.
  • Full profile details. Shows the Wi-Fi name (SSID), security setting and encryption (for example WPA2-Personal AES), connection type, and the password in both text and hex.
  • Wi-Fi security analysis. Rates each network’s configuration and flags weak or insecure setups, so you can spot an old WEP or open network at a glance.
  • Colour-coded results. Secure profiles are marked green, risky ones stand out.
  • Export. XenArmor lists HTML, PDF, CSV, XML, JSON and SQLite as report formats for backing up recovered passwords.
  • EV code-signed. The program is signed with an Extended Validation certificate from Sectigo, which helps with Windows SmartScreen.

Our test: 12 saved Wi-Fi passwords recovered in one click, with a security verdict for each network.

In our test on a Windows 11 PC, the program recovered all 12 saved networks in one scan, including WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal profiles. After the scan, it shows an offer to upgrade to the Lifetime licence; click No to close it.

Free Basic Edition vs paid Lifetime licence

The giveaway covers the core job, recovering passwords. The upgrade prompt inside the program lists what the paid Lifetime licence adds:

Feature Free Basic (giveaway) Paid Lifetime
Recover saved Wi-Fi passwords Yes Yes
Wi-Fi security analysis Yes Yes
Licence period 1 year No expiry
Command-line version No Yes
Delete saved Wi-Fi passwords No Yes
Connect or disconnect Wi-Fi networks No Yes
Use on multiple PCs / portable Unlimited Edition No Yes
Free updates and PRO support No Yes

Limitations to know before you install

  • Only networks you’ve already joined. It reads passwords that Windows has stored. It can’t crack or reveal the password of a network this PC has never connected to.
  • One year only. The licence expires after 12 months. Recover and export what you need while it’s active.
  • Basic features. No command-line automation, no profile deletion and no free updates in the giveaway edition.
  • Antivirus warnings are possible. Password recovery tools are often flagged as PUA (potentially unwanted applications). XenArmor says this is a false positive and the file is EV-signed, but download it only from xenarmor.com.
  • Marketing emails. Registering signs you up for XenArmor offers. You can unsubscribe from any of their emails.
  • Use it on your own PCs. XenArmor’s terms allow it for your own passwords, client recovery work, IT auditing and forensics, not for getting into networks you aren’t authorised to use.

Prefer not to install anything? Use the built-in Windows command

For a single network, Windows can show the password itself. Open Command Prompt and run netsh wlan show profile name="YourWiFiName" key=clear, then look for Key Content. We explain this and the Settings app method in how to view saved Wi-Fi passwords in Windows 11. XenArmor’s advantage is speed: every network, every password and a security check in one window.

FAQs

Is XenArmor Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro free a full version?

Yes, it is the registered Basic Edition, not a trial. The trial shows only the first two characters of each password; the giveaway licence shows them in full for one year.

How long does the free licence last?

One year from activation. After that the program asks for a new licence. XenArmor doesn’t offer free upgrades or renewals with the giveaway.

Can it find the password of a Wi-Fi network I’ve never connected to?

No. It only recovers passwords that Windows has already saved on that computer. It is not a Wi-Fi hacking tool.

Does it work on Windows 11?

Yes. XenArmor lists Windows Vista, 7, 8, 10 and 11 as supported, and our screenshots were taken on Windows 11.

Why didn’t I receive the licence key?

The key is sent only after you click the link in the first confirmation email. Check your spam, junk and promotions folders, and make sure you confirmed within 48 hours.

My antivirus flagged the installer. Is it safe?

Password recovery tools are commonly flagged as potentially unwanted applications. XenArmor’s installer is EV code-signed by Sectigo. If you downloaded it from xenarmor.com, you can add an exclusion; otherwise, delete the file.

📊 Verdict

If you’ve ever had to hunt for a Wi-Fi password on the back of a router, XenArmor Wi-Fi Password Recovery Pro is a quick fix. One click lists every saved network and its password, and the security analysis is a nice extra. The free key costs you nothing but an email confirmation.

👍 Good: instant recovery of all saved Wi-Fi passwords, WPA3 support, security rating per network, export options, EV-signed installer, tiny 6 MB download.

👎 Watch out for: 1-year licence only, no command-line or profile deletion in Basic, upgrade pop-ups, and possible antivirus false positives. Grab it while the giveaway is live, because XenArmor hasn’t announced an end date.
